Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar was a chef and martial arts expert in Bangkok before he came to India and tried his luck with some modelling assignments. He was noticed by a producer and got his first break in a Bollywood film Deedar. Since then Akshay has acted in over 80 films and is today one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood. Initially Akshay was relegated to action packed roles but is now one of the best action and comedy stars in Hindi cinema.
Some of his well known performances are in films like Khiladi, Yeh Dillagi, Mohra, Dil To Pagal Hai, Hera Pheri, Dhadkan, Awara Pagal Deewana, Welcome, Tashan and many more.
Akshay has won two Filmfare awards and numerous nominations for his performances as a comedian, villain and lead actor.
His comic performances in recent films like Hera Pheri, Jaan-E-Mann and Garam Masala received great critical acclaim.
Akshay is married to the sexy Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna.
